Edition 2025 — Sicilia Jazz Festival
The 2025 edition
The 5th edition of the Sicilia Jazz Festival was held from June 22 to July 6, 2025, with eight productions by the Orchestra Jazz Siciliana at the Teatro di Verdura and various venues in the historic center of Palermo (Santa Maria dello Spasimo, Real Teatro Santa Cecilia, Palazzo Steri).
The main concert lineup featured the Village People (June 22), John Pizzarelli (June 24), Victor Wooten (June 26), Nina Zilli (June 28), Cécile McLorin Salvant (June 30), Jazzmeia Horn (July 2), Piero Pelù (July 4), and Eliane Elias for the closing night (July 6).
The edition confirmed the festival's educational focus, featuring young talents from the five Sicilian Conservatories, and its international reach thanks to the World Jazz Network, which brought delegations from the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, and Bulgaria to Palermo.
