Edition 2025 — Siccagno Tomato Festival

On September 7, 2025, the historic center of Ventimiglia di Sicilia hosted the Siccagno Tomato Festival, dedicated to the region's agri-food excellence. A day full of events including free tastings of siccagno tomato dishes, live cooking shows with traditional recipes, workshops on cultivation and product processing, folk music, and local craft exhibitions, which brought the streets and squares of the Palermo village to life.

2025 Siccagno Tomato Festival

The 2025 edition of the Siccagno Tomato Festival took place on Sunday, September 7, 2025, in the historic center of Ventimiglia di Sicilia, in the province of Palermo. The event celebrated one of the most representative products of the Sicilian hinterland: the siccagno tomato, grown without artificial irrigation.

Visitors were able to discover and savor the siccagno tomato in numerous traditional recipes, from free tastings to live cooking shows featuring peasant tradition dishes. There were also educational workshops on the cultivation and processing of the product, folk music, and exhibitions of local crafts and typical products, in a day that combined taste, culture, and conviviality in the name of Sicilian identity.
