Edition 2025 — Shot BY Short
In 2025, Shot BY Short — Mantua Students Film Fest had not yet taken place: its first edition is scheduled for Mantua in May 2026. The previous year was dedicated to building the project, defining the regulations, and opening submissions for Italian schools on the FilmFreeway platform.
Shot BY Short — Mantua Students Film Fest is a festival created to give visibility to short films made by students from Italian schools. Its inaugural edition is planned for Mantua from May 27 to 29, 2026.
2025 was the year of preparation: defining the competition sections, regulations, and awards, and starting the application process. A project that aims to become an annual event dedicated to young cinema and school creativity.
