Shooting Stars Night 2025
On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, on the night of St. Lawrence, the South Tyrol Planetarium in San Valentino in Campo (Cornedo all'Isarco/Karneid, BZ) hosted the Shooting Stars Night on the occasion of the Perseid peak. Dome projections in Italian were held at 6:30 PM and 7:30 PM, dedicated to the origin of shooting stars and summer sky myths. Next to the planetarium, the Max Valier Observatory allowed the public to observe constellations and the Milky Way directly. Admission was free, with booking recommended for planetarium projections.
