Murgia a Morsi 2025 – Alta Murgia Festival

The 2025 edition of the Sheep Festival – Murgia a Morsi was held in Altamura from July 11 to 13, at the Lamalunga Visitor Center, in the heart of the Alta Murgia National Park. Organized by the AlGraMà association, it combined Murgia food and wine traditions with a rich program of performances, traditional games, children's theater, educational activities, and cultural workshops.

The absolute protagonist, as per tradition, was the sheep, served in typical dishes alongside PDO Altamura Bread and products from the Alta Murgia. There were numerous food stalls and tastings. The closing evening on Sunday, July 13, featured a musical program with a PuBaLa vinyl set and a concert by Vitoria Faria, concluding three days dedicated to the flavors and farming culture of the territory.

Throughout the three days (July 11–13): food stalls with sheep and Alta Murgia products, tastings, workshops on taste and craftsmanship, traditional games, children's theater, and educational activities.
