Edition 2025 — Sheep Festival

In the 2025 edition, the Sheep Festival once again enlivened the summer of Civita Castellana, in the Viterbo area, with its pastoral cuisine based on mutton and castrato. A traditional event of Tuscia, featuring mutton gnocchi, grilled mutton, arrosticini, and live music evenings, appreciated by families and visitors from all over Lazio.

Sheep Festival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Sheep Festival confirmed Civita Castellana's (VT) vocation for traditional pastoral cuisine. Under the event's gazebos, visitors were able to enjoy the festival's great classics: shepherd's appetizer, mutton gnocchi, sheep ravioli, grilled mutton, and arrosticini cooked on large grills.

As per tradition, the evenings were accompanied by live music and moments of conviviality, in a festive atmosphere that attracts numerous visitors to the Viterbo Tuscia every year. A popular, free-entry event that served as a prelude to the 15th edition in 2026.
