Edition 2025 — Sheep Festival

The tenth edition of the Sheep Festival took place in Ciciliano on August 29, 30, and 31, 2025, along Corso Umberto I. Three days of pastoral gastronomy and live music, with stalls open from 7 PM on Friday and for lunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday. The star was sheep-based cuisine, from gnocchi with ragù to pecora alla callara, in a village festival atmosphere organized by the Festival Committee with the De Luca Farm.

Sheep Festival 2025: the tenth edition

From August 29 to 31, 2025, Ciciliano celebrated the tenth edition of the Sheep Festival along Corso Umberto I. Food stalls opened from 7 PM on Friday evening, while on Saturday and Sunday, service was active for both lunch and dinner.

The menu featured the great classics of pastoral cuisine: gnocchi with sheep ragù, pecora alla callara, skewers and arrosticini cooked on the grill, sausage sandwiches, accompanied by wine, beer, and water. On the musical front, on Saturday, August 30, the duo Katy & Salvosax took the stage with the DuoLightMusic project, in collaboration with the Accademia Ergo Cantemus Eventi, while Sunday, August 31, featured a live concert by Claudio Cusato. The 2025 edition was also organized by the Ciciliano Festival Committee together with the De Luca Farm, confirming the success of a festival that promotes the agropastoral tradition of the Prenestini Mountains, in Lazio.

Programme

Friday, August 29: opening of food stalls from 7 PM. Saturday, August 30: stalls open for lunch and dinner, evening music with the duo Katy & Salvosax (DuoLightMusic project, with Accademia Ergo Cantemus Eventi). Sunday, August 31: stalls open for lunch and dinner, live concert by Claudio Cusato.
