Edition 2025 — Sgambassà

In 2025, the Sgambassà once again enlivened May Day in Canale, Roero. True to its proven formula, the twelve-kilometre non-competitive walk organised by the Pro Loco of Canale started from the Polisportiva on Viale del Pesco, winding through vineyards, trails, and hillside hamlets, confirming itself as one of the most beloved traditions of the early spring season in the village.

The 2025 Sgambassà

On May 1st, 2025, the Sgambassà renewed its appointment in Canale, in the heart of the Roero region near Cuneo. The non-competitive walk, organised by the Pro Loco of Canale, once again featured the classic route of approximately twelve kilometres, starting from the Polisportiva on Viale del Pesco and returning to the town centre, crossing the hamlets and hillside vineyards.

In this edition as well, the event combined popular sport, nature, and conviviality, confirming its role as a ritual to welcome the spring season for the community of Canale and the many walkers coming from the neighbouring towns of Roero.
