Sezze Watermelon Festival

The 2025 edition of the Watermelon Festival was part of the Estate Setina 2025 program, the season of free events promoted by the municipal administration of Sezze from June 14th to September 27th, featuring shows, concerts, exhibitions, theater, and food and wine events. As in previous years, the festival dedicated to the Pontine watermelon drew a large crowd to the streets and squares of the historic center in early August: fresh slices distributed to attendees, a village festival atmosphere, and the affectionate memory of Carlo Rella, to whom the evening has been dedicated since its first editions. A long-awaited event that confirmed the bond between Sezze, its community, and the iconic fruit of the Agro Pontino summer, setting the stage for the festival's return in the summer of 2026.
