Sezze Artichoke Festival

The 54th edition of the Sezze Artichoke Festival marked a historic turning point: for the first time, the festival was held over two days, Saturday, April 12, and Sunday, April 13, 2025, with the support of the Lazio Region. A winning bet, welcomed with enthusiasm by the public and operators: over 35,000 attendees recorded over the weekend.

From 10:00 AM, the historic center hosted gastronomic stands with Romanesco artichokes prepared Jewish-style, grilled, and baked, live cooking shows, an artisan market, music, book presentations, and conferences. Closing the event on Sunday afternoon at Porta Pascibella was the awarding of the Vittorio Del Duca Prize to the most beautiful stand. 'Doubling the days represents a commitment from the entire city,' declared Mayor Lidano Lucidi.
