Settimana Foianese

The Settimana Foianese 2025, titled Saperi e Sapori, was held from September 14 to 21 in the squares of the historic center of Foiano della Chiana, in the province of Arezzo.

The opening Sunday featured Holy Mass in the Collegiate Church, the procession of the Holy Crucifix with the opening of the Porta Cortonese, exhibitions of vintage cars and motorcycles, markets, and the traditional culinary competition between the mayors of the Valdichiana. The following days included cultural walks, literary presentations, and art, photography, and painting exhibitions.

Among the most anticipated evenings were Thursday with the tasting of Tuscan cigars and wines accompanied by live music, Friday dedicated to young people with emerging bands and DJ sets in Piazza Carbonaia, and Saturday with the sports day, street food in Piazza Santa Cecilia, and the comedy show by Omar Pirovano. The event closed on Sunday with an ecological walk to the Temple of Santa Vittoria and an evening theatrical performance.
