Edition 2025 — Addolorata Festival of Comiso

In 2025, Comiso once again celebrated Maria SS. Addolorata with the Settenario, the procession on the third Sunday of May, and the concluding Ottavario. Evening masses, the Sittina chant, illuminations, and popular moments animated the Mother Church and the historic center, confirming the festival as one of the most deeply felt devotional events in the province of Ragusa.

2025 Edition

In May 2025, the Maria SS. Addolorata festival in Comiso renewed its traditional format: the Settenario of preparation with evening Rosary, mass, and the singing of the Sittina, the solemn procession of the 18th-century statue through the streets and churches of the historic center, and the concluding Ottavario. There was no shortage of gift collections accompanied by the band, illuminations, and convivial moments that involve parishes, schools, and associations of the Iblean community every year.
