Edition 2025 — Sete Sóis Sete Luas Rome
A three-month-long season
In 2025, the Roman leg of the festival spanned an unusually long period. The opening took place on July 15 at Villa Barberini, home to the Embassy of Portugal, with Cristina Clara, one of the most interesting voices of the new Portuguese scene, in a concert dedicated to contemporary fado.
In September, the festival returned with the original production Luso 7Sóis–25, presented on September 2 at Villa Barberini and the following day at the Casal del Marmo Juvenile Detention Center. On September 5, in the same institute, it was the turn of Andalusian flamenco by Jesús Fernández. The closing, on October 6, brought the duo Recanto (Portugal) and Ziad Trabelsi (Tunisia) to the Rebibbia Third House Prison.
All public events were free. The 33rd edition, presented by the Associazione Culturale Gruppo Immagini, was among the projects funded by the "Roma Creativa 365" call of the Municipality of Rome.
