Sesto Fiorentino Carnival – The Land of Toys

In 2025, the Sesto Fiorentino Carnival enlivened Piazza Vittorio Veneto over four days, from February 16 to March 4. The Sundays, starting at 2:30 PM, offered musical and choreographic performances, entertainment, costume parades, food and drinks, with stalls selling cotton candy, bomboloni, crepes, and treats.

The edition celebrated the theme of Pinocchio thanks to a ceramic artwork by artist Stefano Innocenti. Shrove Tuesday, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, marked the grand finale, while the "Veglionissimo" masquerade ball at the Circolo La Rinascita closed the festivities with music and dancing. The event, with free admission, was organized by Pro Sesto APS with municipal patronage and the collaboration of Fratres, the Red Cross, Arci clubs, and local scouts.
