Edition 2025 — Sermoneta in Folklore
From August 19 to 24, 2025, Sermoneta returned to being a global stage for folklore with the ninth edition of the international festival. Alongside the Sbandieratori Ducato Caetani, performances featured the Chilean folk ballet "Ali della mia patria" Tierras Blancas, the Grupo Folclorico de Barcelinhos from Portugal, and the Partizan ensemble from Slovenska Lupca, Slovakia.
The festival opened on Tuesday, August 19, at 9:00 PM at the Belvedere of Sermoneta with the inaugural ceremony followed by group performances; on Wednesday, August 20, and Thursday, August 21, the shows moved to Piazza del Popolo, while on Friday, August 22, and Saturday, August 23, the folklore caravan visited Sabaudia and Nettuno. The grand finale took place on Sunday, August 24, in Sermoneta. The event, with free admission, was organized by the Sbandieratori Ducato Caetani Association with the support of the Municipality of Sermoneta and the patronage of the Lazio Region.
