Edition 2025 — Amidei Award

The 44th edition of the Sergio Amidei Award took place in Gorizia from July 17 to 23, 2025, in the year of Gorizia and Nova Gorica European Capital of Culture. Seven films competed for Best Screenplay, with a jury chaired by Marco Risi, and the Author's Work Awards presented to Ferzan Ozpetek and Céline Sciamma.

The 2025 edition, the 44th, animated Gorizia from July 17 to 23 during the European Capital of Culture year. Competing for the Best Screenplay were seven films, including El Paraíso by Enrico Maria Artale, Conclave by Peter Straughan, and Napoli – New York by Gabriele Salvatores, evaluated by a jury chaired by Marco Risi. The Author's Work Awards were presented to Ferzan Ozpetek and Céline Sciamma, with screenings and meetings held between Kinemax and Coronini Park.
