Edition 2025 — Sentieri degli Spalloni
The 2025 edition focused on Cravariola, the contested alp on the border between Italy and Switzerland, on the 150th anniversary of the placement of the border markers. The highlight was the inauguration of the Path of the Markers: in the footsteps of G. P. Marsh, between Campo Vallemaggia (Switzerland) and Cravariola, retracing the history of one of the most well-known border disputes in the Alps. The day involved the valley's Ossola municipalities, including Crodo, confirming Sentieri degli Spalloni as a reference point for memory, nature, and alpine culture in Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, Piedmont.
