SELVE — Community Theatre Festival

SELVE 2025

The 2025 edition of SELVE — Community Theatre Festival was held from August 15 to 24, 2025 in the hamlets of Collagna and Nismozza, in the Municipality of Ventasso (Reggio Emilia), under the patronage of the Municipality and organized by Intelfade APS.

The first weekend opened on August 15 in Piazza Romolo Ferretti in Collagna with Rosie, a traveling performance for children by and with Daria Menichetti, inspired by a text by Maurice Sendak. On August 16, a polka chinata workshop and the performance Save the Last Dance for Me with dancers from Alessandro Sciarroni's project; on August 17, a physical theatre workshop led by Francesco Manenti and the performance Esercizi di Fantastica by Sosta Palmizi. In the following days, interactive poetry Zilì, mime and clowning workshops, and, at the closing, African traditions with GatherDance and La Voce dei Griot. All performances were free to attend.
