Edition 2025 — Sardine Festival

On Saturday, August 30, 2025, Marinella di Selinunte renewed its Sardine Festival at the Scalo di Bruca, in the village harbor. In the afternoon, the traditional 'ncannata of sardines at the fish market took place, followed in the evening by the lighting of the embers on the west pier and, from 9:00 PM, the tasting of grilled sardines, couscous, pane cunzatu, and traditional desserts. A free festival organized by the Municipality of Castelvetrano with the Marinella Fishermen's Cooperative.
