Edition 2025 — Sele d'Oro
The forty-first edition of the Sele d'Oro Mezzogiorno Award was held in Oliveto Citra from September 4 to 13, 2025, opening on the first day at the EcoTeatro «Sandro Rufolo» with the inaugural ceremony in the presence of Mayor Mino Pignata.
The program alternated Seledoro Talks at the Auditorium — dedicated, among other things, to female thought with Massimo Bray, Virgilio D'Antonio, and Emma Giammattei, to business with Cosimo Rummo, to villages and inland areas, and to artificial intelligence — with daily meetings at the Bibliocafè and Smartcafè 025 on robotics and clean energy. There was also the tribute to Giancarlo Siani with Paolo Siani and Pietro Perone, the homage to Fabrizio De André by Giulio Casale, the speech by Antonio Polito, and exhibitions at the Castello Guerritore and in the library.
The SeleTeatroFest brought international companies from Latvia, Lithuania, and Iran to the stage alongside groups from Milan, Rome, and Bari, while SudShortFilms proposed documentaries and short films with Claudio Gubitosi of the Giffoni Film Festival. The closing, on September 13, combined the final conference and the award ceremony with the concert of the Mediterranei section in Piazza Europa, with Mr. Rain, Los Carosones, Matsby, and the popularizer Vincenzo Schettini.
