Edition 2025 — Porchetta Festival
On Saturday, August 9th, and Sunday, August 10th, 2025, Selci hosted the 68th edition of the Porchetta Festival, organized by the Pro Loco Selci with the patronage of the Municipality. From 7:30 PM on Saturday, the alleys of the historic center were filled with the aromas of porchetta selciana, served in sandwiches and platters along with other typical Sabina offerings, local beers, and wines, while the evening was enlivened by live music from the bands Pari e Dispari and Sangue Nomade.
On Sunday, August 10th, the festival moved in the morning to the Sant'Eleuterio area with the traditional Market Fair, which brought together hobbyists, artisans, and local producers. Admission was free, with food and drinks available for purchase at the stalls: a weekend that renewed a tradition alive since 1956 and attracted visitors from across the province of Rieti and from Rome.
