Edition 2025 — SeicentoNovecento

In the 27th edition of the SeicentoNovecento Festival, Anversa degli Abruzzi hosted two events in August 2025. The first, on August 8 in Piazza Bel Prato, featured music by Father Settimio Zimarino and anonymous works from the 16th and 17th centuries; the second, on August 21 in the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, was dedicated to Quantz and Telemann. The Ensemble '900 traveling series thus confirmed its bond with the L'Aquila village.

The 2025 (27th) edition of the SeicentoNovecento Festival stopped in Anversa degli Abruzzi with two concerts. On August 8, 2025, at 9:15 PM in Piazza Bel Prato, a program featuring music by Father Settimio Zimarino and anonymous compositions from the 16th and 17th centuries was performed, with Valentina Papagna and Daniele Di Fiore (narrators), Armando Fragassi and Roberto Torto (flutes, bagpipes, and hurdy-gurdy), and Massimo Salcito on the harmonium.

On August 21, 2025, at 9:00 PM in the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, a concert featuring music by Quantz and Telemann was held, performed by Roberto Torto (recorders) and Pierluigi Mencattini (Baroque violin). The two evenings confirmed the traveling and philological vocation of the Ensemble '900 series in the heart of the province of L'Aquila.
