Segura Tempora

The 2025 edition of Segura Tempora, which marked five years of the re-enactment, was held in Martinsicuro on July 19 and 20. The event transformed the town center into a 16th-century village filled with theater, music, and collective memory.

Saturday, July 19 opened at 7:00 PM with the 16th-Century Fair, featuring early music, dances, and craft demonstrations, followed at 8:00 PM by the theatrical show "Martin de Segura visits the Customs House at the gates of the Kingdom of Naples" (Compagnia Il Satiro APS with Ars Antiqua) and, at 9:00 PM, the 16th-Century Popular Dinner (by reservation).

Sunday, July 20, at 9:00 PM, the grand Historical Costume Procession departed from Piazza Cavour towards the "Tempo Libero" area on the Lungomare Europa, featuring the court of Martin de Segura, Baron Rosales and the delegation from Colonnella, the Podestà of Castel di Lama, the crossbowmen and flag-wavers of the Cavalcata dell'Assunta of Fermo, and the knights of the Asd Pony Passion Club of Spinetoli. Following this, at 10:00 PM, the show "Quixote, the Knight's Enchantment" by the Accademia Creativa company took place. The free event was realized with contributions from Fondazione Tercas, the Abruzzo Region, and the Province of Teramo.
