Sègra de Ciampedel

The 2025 edition of the Sègra de Ciampedel took place in Campitello di Fassa from May 1st to 3rd, following the well-established three-day schedule. The patronal festival dedicated to Saints Philip and James filled the village marquee and squares with live music, traditional Tyrolean and Fassa dishes, and moments of folklore, under the direction of the Schuhplattler de Ciampedel group. Among the most anticipated events were the symbolic handing over of the village keys to the folk group, the Campitello fire brigade drill with their spectacular maneuvers, and the gastronomic competition dedicated to grostoli, the pastry that symbolizes popular festivals. Sunday opened at dawn with the characteristic wake-up call of the village by the Paicenadores, the whip-crackers, followed by the procession to the Church of Saints Philip and James accompanied by the band and the celebration of Mass, closing the festival in the spirit of Ladin pride.
