Edition 2025 — Chestnut Festival

The 68th Segni Chestnut Festival took place from October 20 to 26, 2025, in the historic center of Segni, featuring a week of food stalls, roasted chestnuts, open wine cellars and taverns, wine tastings, cooking shows, the Marrone PizzaFestival, evening concerts, flag-wavers from Carpineto Romano, and the Copeta historical pageant, ending with a grand finale on Sunday with a concert and DJ set.

From October 20 to 26, 2025, Segni hosted the 68th edition of the Segni Chestnut Festival, with daily opening of stalls from approximately 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM between Piazza Santa Maria, Piazza Pericle, and Piazza Risorgimento. The week opened on Monday the 20th with the presentation of the volume dedicated to Caravaggio's Nativity of Palermo at the Town Hall, the exhibition of costumes from the historical pageant, and the first tastings; Tuesday and Wednesday featured masterclasses, cooking shows, the Marrone PizzaFestival for children, and folk music; Thursday the 23rd included readings in tribute to Mario Soldati and concerts in the Municipal Library and Piazza Santa Maria.

The weekend offered contemporary dance and DJ sets on Friday the 24th, followed by historical-archaeological guided tours on Saturday the 25th and Sunday the 26th, the Copeta historical pageant with the flag-wavers of Carpineto Romano, itinerant concerts, and activities for families, before the grand finale on Sunday evening with music. Free admission, with wine cellars and taverns open for lunch and dinner in the village alleys.
