Segesta Teatro Festival

The 4th edition of the Segesta Teatro Festival, from July 25 to August 24, 2025, reaffirmed the festival as one of the main cultural and tourist events of the Sicilian summer, supported by the Sicilian Region and the Ministry of Culture. Under the artistic direction of Claudio Collovà, the programme offered 20 theatre performances, 11 concerts, 4 choreographies, 6 national premieres, and the presence of numerous companies under 35, in addition to free workshops and site-specific performances also dedicated to stargazing.

The Ancient Theatre, with a capacity of up to approximately 1,200 spectators, hosted prose and dance, while the Temple of Aphrodite Urania (up to 800 spectators) was dedicated to concerts. Among the artists featured in the 2025 edition: Eugenio Finardi (inaugural concert at 9:15 PM), Francesco Baccini, Peppe Servillo, Laura Morante, Emilio Solfrizzi, and Javier Girotto. Prose and dance performances started at 7:30 PM, music at the Temple at 9:30 PM, with the now-traditional dawn performances at 5:00 AM, in the territory of Calatafimi-Segesta in the province of Trapani.
