Sea Film Festival

The tenth edition

The Sea Film Festival celebrated its tenth edition in Castiglione della Pescaia from August 23 to 27, 2025, with Giovanni Veronesi as artistic director for the fifth consecutive year.

Guests of the edition included: Ambra Angiolini, Geppi Cucciari, Beppe Fiorello, Giuliano Sangiorgi, Piera Detassis, Bobo Rondelli, and Giampaolo Letta (CEO of Medusa Film). Evening screenings at Cinema Castello (9:15 PM) included Afrodite, La Pazza Gioia, Diamanti, Stranizza d'amuri, and Non è un paese per giovani. The Italo Calvino Library hosted afternoon documentaries and short films.

Special events included the concert by Bobo Rondelli with Musica da Ripostiglio on the beach of the former Bagno Maristella (August 24) and the 'Stay Out of the Water' exhibition by Claudio Chimenti at the Club Velico. The 'Mauro Mancini' (2,000 euros for the best European sea-themed short) and 'Guido Parigi' (1,000 euros for the best journalistic short) awards were confirmed. Almost all events were free of charge.
