Sea Festival 2025 in Nardò
The 2025 edition of the Sea Festival was held on Sunday, June 29, 2025, organized by Onda Viva ASD (president Andrea Sciacca) with the patronage of the Municipality of Nardò and the Puglia Region. The day celebrated the fifth consecutive Blue Flag of the territory, focusing on sport, marine culture, participation, and inclusion.
The morning in Sant'Isidoro, at Lido Dinamiko, featured institutional speeches, a contribution from marine biologist Sergio Fai, the presentation of the 'L'Onda 2025' Award, a dance performance on the beach, and an introductory stand-up paddle activity, culminating in a symbolic collective swim. In the afternoon, in Santa Maria al Bagno, the Salento Aquarium hosted the educational-workshop path 'Shells or Microplastics?', including a guided tour, microscope observations, and practical activities for all ages.
