Edition 2025 — Sea Festival
The 2025 edition of the Sea Festival and Feast of Saint Peter took place from June 25th to 29th in the Marina of Sciacca, celebrating the city's maritime identity through religious tradition, popular culture, entertainment, and gastronomy.
The program alternated moments of faith, with daily Rosary and Holy Mass at the Church of Saint Peter, with folkloric shows, fairs, exhibitions, concerts, cabaret, and traditional games. The 'Ntinna a Mari was held on Saturday, June 28th, at the inner eastern pier, hosted by Luca La Barbera and Massimo Napoli. On June 29th, the statues of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul were carried in procession through the streets of the district, and the patron saint of fishermen was taken out to sea aboard a fishing boat from the Sciacca fleet, escorted by other vessels. The tasting area, open at 8:00 PM at the Fish Market, offered an authentic journey through the dishes of the "Cuisine of Saint Peter," including soups, shrimp, and maritime street food specialties.
