Edition 2025 — Sea Carnival

In 2025, Santa Maria al Bagno once again celebrated its Carnival between land and sea, with the now-recognizable pirate fleet on SUPs and kayaks on the marina's waters and the masked parade along the waterfront. A free, well-attended festival promoted by local associations with the support of the Municipality of Nardò, confirming the formula that combines water sports and carnival tradition.

The 2025 edition of the Sea Carnival brought the usual celebration combining sea and waterfront to Santa Maria al Bagno, a marina of Nardò (LE). On that occasion, participants dressed as pirates set sail on SUPs and kayaks, while the masked parade with groups and families enlivened the coast.

The event, free and open to all, confirmed Santa Maria al Bagno's vocation for enjoying its sea even out of season, valuing nautical activities and the community spirit of the Ionian Salento. An appointment that served as a foundation for the following edition, which returned punctually in 2026.
