Edition 2025 — Scusìn

The 2025 edition of Scusìn took place on Sunday 20 and Monday 21 April, in the historic centre of Castelnovo ne' Monti. That year too, the festival celebrated the theme of the Giro d'Italia, colouring the town's streets with decorations and pink eggs. Amidst hard-boiled egg challenges, music, street artists, and outdoor dining, the event confirmed its role as an identity-defining Easter rite of the Reggiano Apennines.

The 2025 edition of Scusìn was held on Easter weekend, Sunday 20 and Monday 21 April, in the historic centre of Castelnovo ne' Monti. The festival, dedicated to the theme of the Giro d'Italia, saw hard-boiled eggs coloured pink as the protagonists of the traditional point-against-point battle. The days, marked by the hours 9 AM-12 PM and 3 PM-6 PM, offered music, street artists, inflatables for children, and outdoor catering curated by the Carpineti da Vivere association, with the Sunday evening DJ set and the Monday charity draw. Part of the proceeds went to purchasing equipment for Sant'Anna Hospital and renovating the Oratory of Santa Maria Maddalena.
