Edition 2025 — Scrusciu Street Food

In the summer of 2025, the Calderà promenade in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto confirmed its role as a stage for street food events during the warmer months, following a well-established tradition on the Barcellona coast. It was in this setting that the Beer and Food Fest team, already a key player in the city with festivals dedicated to craft beer and street food, laid the groundwork for the new summer format, Scrusciu Street Food, debuting in 2026.

During the 2025 summer season, the seaside district of Calderà, in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (Messina), hosted the usual series of food events and festivals that enliven the promenade during the summer months. The coastline, which has been a venue for street food festivals and musical evenings for years, provided the natural setting for the birth of Scrusciu Street Food.

The Beer and Food Fest team, active in Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto with events dedicated to craft beer and street food, worked in this context to create the new summer seaside event, the first edition of which is set for August 2026.
