Edition 2025 — Scopello Alpini Festival

In 2025, the Scopello Alpini Group celebrated its annual festival on the last Sunday of May, bringing together the Penne Nere of Scopello, Pila, and Piode. As per tradition, the day alternated between moments of remembrance—wreath-laying, flag-raising, and Holy Mass in suffrage of the fallen—and the village parade followed by a convivial alpine lunch.

The 2025 edition of the Scopello Alpini Festival took place at the end of May, confirming the annual appointment of the Alpini Group that brings together the Penne Nere of Scopello, Pila, and Piode in Valsesia. The day followed the traditional structure of the festival: the wreath-laying ceremony for the fallen, the flag-raising, the Holy Mass in suffrage of the fallen of all wars, the parade through the village streets accompanied by the Scopello-Pila marching band, and the alpine lunch at the community center.
