Scjalati Autumn Fest 2025
The third edition of the Scjalati Autumn Fest was held in Galati Mamertino on November 29 and 30, 2025, confirming the event as one of the most anticipated autumn appointments in the Nebrodi area of Messina. For two days, the historic center became a large autumn village.
The highlights were the flavors of the region: chestnuts, mushrooms, hazelnuts, olives and oil, honey, new wine, craft beer, and the prized Nebrodi black pig, offered at street food and tasting stalls. Alongside the food, there was a craft market with local artisans and hobbyists, guided tours of the historic center, and excursions in the Nebrodi Park accompanied by expert guides.
Musical entertainment featured folk groups, live bands, and DJ sets, with activities for children. The edition was organized by the Municipality of Galati Mamertino and the NextGen Galatese association, with the support of the Regional Department of Tourism.
