Edition 2025 — Scivolandia

The fifth edition of Scivolandia took place on Saturday, January 11, 2025, on the new Pineta Nord slope in Pontechianale, in front of nearly a thousand spectators. Among the competing crews, "I Romani delle Langhe" triumphed with their "Viva la Biga" sled, reaching the top step of the podium for the first time in an evening of madness, choreography, and humorous prizes on the snow of the upper Varaita Valley.

Scivolandia 2025: the Romans of the Langhe triumph

The fifth edition of Scivolandia, on Saturday, January 11, 2025, attracted nearly a thousand spectators to the Pineta Nord slope in Pontechianale. About ten crews and over 60 participants competed, arriving from various parts of Piedmont.

The winning team was "I Romani delle Langhe", led by Guido Camia, with their themed sled "Viva la Biga": a spectacular performance that earned the group their first absolute victory. Alongside the podium, the usual special prizes were awarded, from the "Sympathy Prize" to the "Team Rosa" (from Roccabruna), to the loudest cheering section (Tarantasca). An evening that confirmed Scivolandia as one of the most beloved winter events in the Varaita Valley.
