Edition 2025 — ScienzEstate

The 23rd edition of ScienzEstate focused on the theme "The Words of Science: Sustainability." Events at the Sesto Fiorentino Campus were held on Wednesday, June 11, and Thursday, June 12, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, featuring demonstrations, games, shows, interactive workshops, and guided tours of departments and research centers by reservation. Free admission.

The 2025 edition of ScienzEstate, the 23rd, featured the theme "The Words of Science: Sustainability," the guiding thread for all scheduled initiatives. The event opened on Wednesday, June 4, in the Aula Magna of Piazza San Marco, with institutional greetings and a workshop on the year's theme.

At the Sesto Fiorentino Campus (Viale delle Idee), on the evenings of June 11 and 12 from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, the public participated in demonstrations, games, shows, interactive workshops, and guided tours of departments and research centers. Topics ranged from plant biodiversity to brain function, from optical illusions to computer algorithms, from bacteria to polymers, and from cosmic rays to particle accelerators. All activities were free, with some requiring reservations.
