Scientific Conference "Gubbio Franciscan between history and memory"

In 2025, the "Francesco a Gubbio" project began, coordinating the city's celebrations for the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi, spread between July 2025 and December 2026. In this context, work began on the scientific conference "Gubbio Franciscan between history and memory", designed to enhance the deep bond between Gubbio, in the province of Perugia, and the Saint who tamed the famous wolf here. The initiatives of 2025 constituted the preparatory phase of a study and memory process of national importance.
