Science Week and European Researchers' Night (Frascati Scienza)

The twentieth anniversary, under the banner of LEAF

The twentieth edition further expanded the scope of the event, involving over twenty municipalities: alongside Frascati and the centers of the Castelli Romani—Ariccia, Nemi, Monte Porzio Catone, Velletri, Campoleone di Lanuvio—participants included Rome, Montelibretti, Cassino, Frosinone, Gaeta, Gorga, Pofi, Ripi, as well as Florence, Parma, Piacenza, Potenza, Rende, Carbonia, and Palermo.

The program, spread over eight days, alternated live experiments, workshops for all ages, talks with international experts, and outreach shows, with a strong component dedicated to schools through the Researchers@School projects and PCTO pathways. On September 19, the preview «The physics we like» opened the week.

The project cycle involved dozens of partner organizations, over nine hundred events, and about two thousand active researchers, for an estimated total audience of tens of thousands of visitors. A result that confirms the role of the Lazio region, and in particular the Municipality of Frascati, as a national point of reference for scientific dissemination.
