Sciaranuova Festival 2025 - "Piani Inclinati"
The ninth edition of the Sciaranuova Festival, titled "Piani Inclinati", was held between July 26 and August 2, 2025, in the open-air theatre of the Cantina Planeta Sciaranuova, in Castiglione di Sicilia, on the northern slopes of Mount Etna.
The performances
- July 26 - "La Meraviglia" by Sonia Antinori, with Carla Manzon and Tommaso Girardi: a tale between science, myth, and poetry inspired by the 17th-century discovery of the lapis bononiensis.
- August 1 - "DEGENERATA!", by and with Ernesto Tomasini: an experimental cabaret inspired by the 1930s.
- August 2 - "La Moltiplicazione degli occhi" by Ivan Talarico, voice of Radio3, featuring author reinterpretations, songs, and irony.
With doors opening at 8:00 PM and shows at 9:00 PM, the 2025 edition confirmed the festival's winning formula, blending contemporary theatre, an aperitif in the vineyard, and the landscape of the Etna vineyards.
