Schiavonia Festival

The 2025 Schiavonia Festival was held on Wednesday, July 30, having been moved from the original date of July 26. The evening, curated by the Associazione Pro Mottola Enzo Lippolis APS, was part of the Estate Mottolese 2025 calendar, dedicated to "culture, music, food, cinema, and shows through the city streets."

As per tradition, the festival brought residents and visitors back to the squares and alleys of the medieval historic center of Mottola, the white district known as "la Schiavonia," with musical offerings, performances, screenings, and stands featuring typical products from the Taranto area. It was a community evening that celebrated the identity and historical heritage of the village overlooking the Gulf of Taranto.
