Edition 2025 — Schenna klingt

In 2025, the Musikkapelle Schenna continued its busy musical schedule in the village above Merano, including the traditional spring concert (Frühjahrskonzert), summer square concerts, and participation in local religious and civil events, building up to the 200-year milestone celebrated with the "Schenna klingt" festival.

For the Musikkapelle Schenna, 2025 was the year leading up to the bicentennial: the band of the Scena/Schenna municipality, in the province of Bolzano/Bozen, animated village life as usual with the Frühjahrskonzert (spring concert), summer concerts on Raiffeisenplatz, and appearances at major local events. Founded according to parish records in 1825, the ensemble continued to cultivate the classic Tyrolean Blasmusik repertoire—marches, polkas, sacred pieces, and modern melodies—while preparing for the 200th-anniversary celebrations that culminated in the 2026 edition of "Schenna klingt".
