Scents and... Stories in Sabina

The 2025 edition in Montasola

Before the 2026 event, Scents and... Stories in Sabina had already brought to Montasola, in the province of Rieti, a weekend dedicated to lavender and the landscape of the Sabina region. The structure of the event was the one that led to its success: the encounter between the agricultural dimension, with flowering fields open to visitors, and the cultural one, with music, storytelling, and convivial moments hosted in the village squares and the municipal park.

The detailed program of that edition is not documented in available public sources, but the free formula and the choice of the end of June — when the lavender reaches its most intense color — were already the distinctive elements that were taken up and expanded the following year as part of the "The Middle Ages Revived" project.
