Scatola Sonora - International Opera Festival

The 28th edition of Scatola Sonora, held in Alessandria in 2025, confirmed the festival's vocation for chamber musical theatre. The chosen theme was the power of imagination, that force capable of crossing centuries and cultures, addressing children and adults, expert spectators and curious passers-by with the same intensity. The programme featured three events, all with free admission subject to availability: a book recounting the stage from within, a surreal journey into a world populated by improbable animals, and a theatrical and musical rewriting of an immortal classic. The festival, conceived by Luca Valentino and promoted by the Vivaldi Conservatory, was included in the Le stagioni del Vivaldi project and realised with the support of the Piedmont Region.
