Scanno Jazz Festival

The first edition of the Scanno Jazz Festival was held on August 2 and 3, 2025, with concerts starting at 7:00 PM at the Parco dei Salici on the shores of Lake Scanno.

On Saturday, August 2, Stefano Di Battista took the stage with his quartet for a concert dedicated to the melodies of Ennio Morricone and the sounds of jazz, bridging the past and present. Sunday, August 3, featured Ernesto Marciante, a young jazz talent, and Angelo Mellone, author and pianist, accompanied by the Salvatore Russo quintet; a special guest of the evening was actor Massimo Boldi, who engaged in a conversation with Raffaello Fusaro about his long career and his beginnings as a drummer.

The festival paid tribute to Henry Mancini, whose family roots are in Scanno, immediately establishing itself as an event capable of uniting great music, landscape, and culture in the heart of Abruzzo.
