Edition 2025 — Scanno dei Fotografi
The 15th edition of the 'Scanno dei Fotografi' International Photography Award took place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the Guido Calogero Auditorium in Scanno, in the province of L'Aquila, with free admission. The award was presented to photographer Enrico Speranza, recognized by the jury for his ability to capture the soul of places and people, transforming fleeting moments into images of rare emotional intensity.
The jury, composed among others of Giovanni Bucci, Guglielmo Ardito, Bruno Colalongo, Claudio Marcozzi, and Luca Revelli, highlighted Speranza's style, dedicated to street photography and portraiture attentive to urban margins and faces encountered in daily life. The edition confirmed Scanno's role as the Abruzzo capital of photographic culture, following the tradition started in 1998 by the Fototeca d'Abruzzo.
