Edition 2025 — Mercadante Clarinet Competition

The 21st edition of the Saverio Mercadante International Clarinet Competition took place in Noci at the Hotel Punto Verde, with a record participation of over one hundred contestants from 22 countries. Three categories competed: Senior, Junior, and Young Soloists, judged by an international jury.

2025 Edition (XXI)

The twenty-first edition of the competition recorded a record number of entries, with over one hundred clarinetists arriving from 22 nations, including Finland, the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Brazil, China, and Japan. The rounds were held in Noci, at the Hotel Punto Verde venue.

In the Senior Soloists category, the first prize went to the Italian Beatrice Aragona, ahead of the Polish Kamil Janas and the South Korean Geukchan Lee. Among the Juniors, the Polish Tomasz Grzebień triumphed, while in the Young category, Artur Jaron, also from Poland, prevailed. The international jury included, among others, Eddy Vanoosthuyse (Belgium), Roman Widaszek (Poland), Jeremy Reynolds (United States), Luís Gomes (Portugal), and artistic director Antonio Tinelli.
