Saturnia Film Festival 2025 — the eighth edition

The eighth edition of the Saturnia Film Festival was held from July 30 to August 3, 2025, spread across five villages of the Maremma: Manciano, Saturnia, Rocchette di Fazio, Montemerano, and Terme di Saturnia. The opening night in Manciano saw the debut of the new "Women's Perspectives" section, dedicated to short films on the condition of women, accompanied by tastings of local products and a concert by the Street Music Festival.

Guests included Lillo Petrolo, actress Giulia Michelini, actors Maurizio Lombardi and Francesco Gheghi, and directors such as Christian Filippi, Stefano Lorenzi, and Francesco Costabile. The fourth day in Montemerano hosted the second edition of Saturnia Pitch, a platform connecting young authors with major Italian production companies. The closing night at Terme di Saturnia brought together the finalist short films and the awards ceremony, featuring the Best Director Award and the Andrea Camilleri Award for best screenplay.
