Edition 2025 — Satriano Ride

On August 31, 2025, about eighty knights in medieval costume re-enacted the last journey of the dying Saint Francis, starting from Nocera Umbra and crossing the Monte Subasio Park to Assisi, with stops in villages and hermitages along the way.

The 2025 edition of the Satriano Ride took place on Sunday, August 31, 2025, with a gathering at 9:00 AM and departure at 9:30 AM from Nocera Umbra. About eighty knights from various Italian regions followed the itinerary towards Assisi, crossing Valtopina, Spello, and the Monte Subasio Park.

The procession passed through symbolic places of the Franciscan journey, including Villa Postignano, Castel Senese, the chapel of Satriano, Armenzano, and Costa di Trex, concluding in the afternoon at the entrance to the historic centre of Assisi at Porta San Giacomo.
