Santu Vitu Fair 2025
The 2025 edition brought the ancient San Vito fair back to life in the Rione Costantino of Martano, in the Fiume area, after the last historical edition dating back to 2017. The event was organized by Vivarch APS with the Municipality of Martano, the Nodo Galattica-Martano, the Pro Loco, the Gree.eco association, Radio Salentina, and the Maria Santissima del Rosario Parish.
Saturday, June 14, the evening opened at 6:00 PM with a guided walk through the district, followed at 7:00 PM by Holy Mass and the blessing of the animals at the Church of San Giovanni Bosco, the extraordinary opening of the Pozzo Fiume, and the «Li Mannucchi» threshing re-enactment. The evening continued with the Radio Salentina DJ contest and, at 9:30 PM, with the concert by Stella Grande e Anime Bianche. Sunday, June 15, at 8:30 PM, a musical at the Don Bosco oratory closed the event. Free admission.
