Edition 2025 — Santu Lazzaru

In 2025, during the Lenten period, the Santu Lazzaru Festival once again renewed the appointment with the songs and readings of the Salento folk tradition in Collepasso. In Piazza Dante, groups of singers and musicians performed the ancient melody of "lu Santu Lazzaru," passing on an intangible heritage deeply rooted in the community.

Santu Lazzaru Festival 2025

In 2025, the Santu Lazzaru Festival confirmed its place in the Lenten calendar of Collepasso, in the province of Lecce. As is customary, Piazza Dante once again hosted the evening dedicated to traditional songs and readings of the Salento folk culture.

The edition featured groups of singers and musicians, often young, committed to keeping the performance of "lu Santu Lazzaru" alive—the song inspired by the Passion of Christ that characterizes Lent in Salento towns. A community occasion that reaffirmed the identity and cultural value of this event promoted by the Municipality of Collepasso.
